SENIORS 2026

Hello Senior 2026 families! This is the place where you will find information about graduation and its surrounding details. Posts will be made below as information becomes available.

The class of 2026’s graduation will take place Thursday, June 4th at 6:00 PM at the Portola High School Stadium.


Graduation attire

All graduates must wear the official Portola High School cap and gown for the formal ceremony. Gowns must remain zipped, clothing worn underneath must not be visible, and shoes must be suitable for walking on grass. Caps and gowns may not be physically altered (decorated, cut, or sewn).  If you still need to purchase a cap and gown, Jostens will be selling these items at the Graduation rehearsal on June 3rd. The cost is $50.00 for the Cap and Gown. Cash only will be accepted at this time. 

•    Authorized Adornments: Only the following items may be worn during the ceremony:

o    School-Recognized Regalia: Top Dog Medals, CSF Stoles, Honor Cords.
o    Protected Adornments: Per CA Education Code 35183.1, students may wear items of tribal, cultural, or religious significance. These must be worn as wearable accessories (e.g., stoles) .
o    Military Uniforms: Active-duty members may wear their dress uniform in place of a cap and gown.

•    Prohibited Items: Non-school regalia and items that create a safety hazard or substantial disruption are not permitted during the ceremony. These may be worn for photos and celebrations immediately following the event.
 

devices and textbooks

Students are expected to have all textbooks and devices returned to the learning commons before graduation rehearsal on Wednesday, June 3rd. Please make sure the devices are charged. These are turned on to make sure the screens and devices are operable. Any textbooks or devices missing will incur a fine, including the charging cable. This will need to be resolved before receiving graduation tickets and a cap and gown.

Order your cap & gown before Dec 19th!

  • Until 12/19 = Cap & Gown, + 10 year medallion = $32.50
  • After 12/19 = Cap & Gown, + 10 year medallion = $42.50
  • After 2/28 = Cap & Gown, + 10 year medallion = $50.00
    • $50.00 cash late fee at cap & gown distribution in June
    • Students will not be able to order online after 2/28; cap & gown distribution and sizes may vary.


During the Senior class meeting, your learner got a sneak peek at everything they will need for senior year. The easiest way to get it all, including your cap & gown, is with the Bulldog Mascot Package.  Order before Oct 12th and receive the cap & gown FREE as part of the package, as well as FREE S&H.
