Hello Senior 2024 families! This is the place where you can find information about graduation and its surrounding details.

 

GRADUATION REMINDERS & ANNOUNCEMENTS

  • Rehearsal at 9:30am, Wednesday: Students enter gym through the locker room corridor and need their Senior Clearance completed to participate and pick up their four free tickets, additional tickets purchased, a program, and cap/gown.
  • Graduation, 4:45-5:15pm, Thursday: Students report to the gym between 4:45-5:15PM holding their cap and gown and should report without any items. All items, including cell phones will be checked in and secured in the gym during the commencement ceremony. Students are not able to modify or decorate any of their graduation items, as well as only wear the PHS provided cords and medallions.
  • Graduation, 6:00pm, Thursday: Doors open at 5PM. In consideration of all families, air horns, noise makers, or balloons of any size are not permitted. These items will be confiscated. Bags and purses are subject to search before entry. Any child over one will need a ticket, and children under one are permitted to sit on a lap since they do not have a ticket. There will be additional seating on the track as well. Families are not able to save seats for others. This is first come, first serve for seating in the stands, on the track, or standing room only at the gates.

  • ADA Assistance: Students can fill out this form: https://bit.ly/ADAPHS. This form allows students to add family to sit with anyone who needs ADA access and seating, as well as possible golf cart assistance to and from the stadium. Seats will be reserved in the chairs on the track with the student’s name for each family member. Please have this filled out by Thursday at 9am.
  • Extra Tickets: Students can fill out this form: https://bit.ly/PHSEXTRATICKET. This is only for students who did not have the opportunity to fill out the form the first two windows for extra tickets. These tickets were from students who do not want to participate in graduation. All students were able to request up to four extra tickets previously. Students who will receive extra tickets should look for an email Wednesday evening. They will need to pay for these on Thursday at 10:30am in the ASB office, $5 cash each.
  • Parking: Students are encouraged to carpool with family, with other students, or get dropped off at graduation. All three lots will be available for parking, as well as on Chinon on the school side only between Irvine and Cadence, and on Cadence on the school side only between Cadence and Merit. Please do not park off of Merit or on any curbs painted red in the parking lots; you may be subject to tickets or towing.
  • IMPORTANT: Students will walk into the ceremony together as walk out together. They will walk back to the gym to pick up their items, or through the quad to exit. Please coordinate a meeting spot on campus in order to find your graduate after the ceremony. The ceremony should last 1.5 hours and start promptly at 6pm.

 

ATTENTION SENIORS AND PARENTS

Last window to request extra Graduation Tickets

Admission to the ceremony is by ticket only (including children). Please note that having a ticket does not necessarily mean that a seat will be available, particularly for late arrivals. We provide four tickets to each family for graduation. Tickets are distributed immediately after Graduation rehearsal with the cap and gown delivery on June 5th. Students were able to request up to four additional tickets from April 1 - April 30th. These ticket requests were approved and students paid for these tickets this past week. The window will open again, please access this link from through this link from Friday, May 10 to Friday, May 17. The number of requests will determine the number of additional tickets for each student. The cost of each additional ticket is $5. All families who complete the form will be notified May 20th, 2024 if they were approved for extra tickets. Payment for the additional tickets must be made between May 27 – May 31. Priority will go to those who did not request tickets in the first window. There are limited tickets left. Graduation will be streamed live as well.

  • 3/13: Advisement End of Year Senior Meeting
  • 5/30 & 5/31: Senior Finals, Full Day
  • 6/3: Senior Clearance, Full Day
  • 6/4: Senior Breakfast, 9:30am - 12pm (students can work on clearance from 8-9:30am)
  • 6/5: Graduation Rehearsal, 9:30am - 12:30pm
  • 6/6: Graduation, 6pm and Seniors report at 4:45-5:15pm

 

GRADUATION TICKETs

  • 4 free per student
  • April 1-30, Window #1 for up to 4 additional tickets for $5 each. Students notified May 3rd and paid for these tickets 5/6 - 5/10.
  • May 10-May 17, Window #2 to request additional tickets for $5 each. Students will be notified May 20 and purchase tickets 5/27-5/31. Priority will go to those who did not request additional tickets in the first window. There are very few tickets left.
